Minister of Petroleum resources Mrs Diezani Allison Madueke at a press conference at presidential villa announced the reduction in price of Petroleum from 97 to 87 naira which took effect from midnight.Hmmm we hope this should have been announced earlier.....Anyway how much are you still buying it in your area ?

Multiple gunshots fired at US vice president Joe Biden's home

According to The Guardian US, the Secret Service said on Sunday that multiple gunshots were fired from a vehicle near the Delaware home of Vice-President Joe Biden on Saturday night. The vice-president and his wife, Dr Jill Biden, were not at home at the time of the shooting, authorities said.

The Wilmington home is several hundred yards from the main road from where the shots rang out, and authorities were searching outside the Biden residence and nearby houses to determine if any rounds hit anything. Police in New Castle County, Delaware, said there were no reports of any injuries related to the shooting.

Secret Service spokesman Robert Hoback said the shots were fired at about 8.25pm on a public road outside the secure perimeter near the home. The shots were heard by Secret Service personnel, who saw the vehicle drive past the home at a high rate of speed and flee the scene.

Greg Plitt a Hollywood actor and Fitness instructor killed by a train

This was reported by TMZ that the fitness instructor Greg Plitt -- who appeared on the Bravo show "Work Out" -- died Saturday after he was struck by a train.
The 37 year-old was hit by a Metrolink train in Burbank around 4PM ... and according to KABC he was with some friends who may have been shooting video at the time.

One passenger reportedly said Plitt had a camcorder in his hands when he stumbled over the tracks. 

Law enforcement tells us they believe Plitt was shooting a workout video at the time.

Although, the incident is under investigation. Plitt has modeled for Calvin Klein, Old Navy and Under Armour ... and images of his body were used to help create the physique of Dr. Manhattan in "The Watchmen."

PDP claims El-Rufai and Fashola are campaigning for PDP

This is reported by pm news that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has insinuated that Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna state governorship candidate, Malam Nasir El-Rufai are campaigning for President Goodluck Jonathan ahead of the presidential election slated for 14 February.
In a statement issued by Olisa Metuh, National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) he said they were campaigning against General Muhammadu Buhari because they were both recorded to have urged voters to elect a younger president.

 Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie is reportedly wanted by the Nigerian Police for over N2 Million unfinished movie debt.

A movie Marketer, Film Mark Productions accused Mercy Johnson of running away with the money paid to her for a role in a movie.

According to reports, the actress was paid by the marketer March last year to star in his movie that kicked-off production in April, but she abandoned the production after few days and featuring in just few scenes.

Singer Emma Nyra said: I don't mind flaunting my curves
